At the Avon Catholic Community, our Parish School of Religion serves children in Grades 1–8 who attend public schools, non-Catholic private schools, or home schools.
But it’s more than a program. At PSR, faith takes root, grows, and comes alive!
We believe every child is made to know, love, and serve God.
In PSR, we don’t just teach facts; we invite students into the story of Jesus Christ and show how His love transforms everyday life. Our dedicated catechists and volunteers give their time, energy, and hearts so that each student can grow in faith, friendship, and mission.
Faith formation begins at home.
PSR is here to support you as parents and guardians. You are the first and most important teachers of the faith. The most powerful witness your child will see is your example: praying together, living your faith in action, and worshiping at Sunday Mass as a family.

This fun program is designed to accommodate those who are busy throughout the school year and will fulfill the PSR requirement for the 2026-2027 PSR year!
Parish Event Reflection Form
As part of the summer intensive model, as well as the at-home Family Based Catechesis (FBC) program, students are required to attend parish activities.
