Grill & Glory – Men’s Ministry

Grill & Glory: Men’s Ministry
Sunday, August 9 | 5:00–9:00 PM | Ragan Hall, 1783 Moore Rd
Men & Their Children Are Invited!
“Turn me over, I’m done on this side.”
These legendary words, traditionally attributed to St. Lawrence, the patron saint of grillmasters, set the tone for an evening of faith, fellowship, and fire.
We’ll begin with 5:00 p.m. Mass, then fire up the grills for our St. Lawrence Cook-Off! Bring your own meat to grill (or pre-smoked meat), share, and enjoy. Don’t forget to bring your A-game as we crown the Avon Catholic Grill Master Champion! Bragging rights and the coveted title are on the line.
Bring your own Camp Chairs and a side dish to share if you are not competing for the grill master title.
This is a wonderful opportunity for men to bring their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and neighbors to witness authentic Christian living. As men of faith their is a special call to share with young disciples what it looks like to step up as spiritual leaders both in the home and within our greater community. There is no greater lesson we can teach the next generation than to let them see men joyfully living for Christ.
Come hungry, for food, for faith, and for fellowship. We can’t wait to see you there!
Free Event, donations welcome.
